Our lighting system covers every circuit in the house. Chandeliers, pendants, spotlights, recessed strips, wall lights, table lamps on switched sockets. If it uses electricity, it can be on the system.
The practical difference this makes is that you stop thinking about individual lights. You think about the room instead. Dim everything in the living room for a film without touching four separate switches. Walk into the bedroom and the bedside lights come on at 30 percent because it’s after 9pm and that’s what you set. The bathroom fills with warm light at 7am when the alarm goes off.
In a home cinema setup we bring the lighting into the control sequence. Lights fade when the film starts, come back up at pause, go out at play. No remote, no switch, it follows the AV system.
We also work with architects and interior designers during the fit-out stage. If a room was designed to be lit a certain way, we make sure the lighting plan delivers that rather than working around whatever a sparky put in on the day.
